Boys Will Be Boys… Not anymore!

Koffee With Karan Season 6 saw two cricketers gracing the show K.L. Rahul and Hardik Pandya and yet again proving ‘boys will be boys’.

And to no surprise, the coffee beans have spilled a few more controversial statements on the Couch!

Lot of things can happen over a coffee and Koffee With Karan has been no exception to this!

While the episode has been a grueling hot sensation for the past few days; the heated hatred among the crowd is beaming with flare with the careless disrespecting comments uttered in a gist of seconds!

With female sentiments put on a toss, questions have already filled in the BCCI air.

Where Pandya and K L Rahul have a public apology typed, but BCCI gifting the cricketers another chance, there are a few more questions and pointers which we all pose against the defamed cricket players

1. Guys, How Can You Blame ‘The Nature’ Of The Show?

A lot was said over the nature of the show but how do you justify ‘your mindset’ towards the female gender which got a huge nationwide exposure?

Respect comes within; be it on-field or off-field, on national television or any other comfort zone, a man who respects women can’t get carried away with the so-called nature of the show’!!

2. Are Your Parents Really Cool About Your Sexual Adventures?

Is that the way your parents support you in your dysfunctional and irrational behavior?

Statements like this have much more to explain;

“My family has been open about everything. When I lost my virginity, I came home and said, ‘Main karke aya hai aaj’.”

“At a party, my parents asked me ‘acha tera waala (women) kaun sa hai.’ So, I said ‘Yeh, yeh, yeh’ (pointing out all the women he had slept with), and they were like ‘Waah, proud of you, beta’.”

And we keep blaming porn-sites for the growing rapes in this country!!

3. Haven’t You Set An Example Of A ‘Sorry Tweet’ Which Can Cover The Ugliest Of Mistakes?

Like really!

Will a mere apology wipe out the all the rotten statements made by you of objectifying a woman?

Will a tweet be sufficient when your brain still works the same when you watch a woman move?

You owe an explanation on this;

“I like to watch and observe how they move. I’m little from the Black side so I need to see how they move.”

4. Is A Woman A Trophy To Be Kissed and Smothered?

“Nahi nahi, aisa kuch nahi hai. Talent pe hota hai. Jisko mila woh leke jao,” was the statement given when Karan asked what would happen if both Hardik and Rahul hit on the same girl.

While you spoke your mind; we will keep this in mind!!

5. BCCI, Why Did You Uplift the Suspension Order! And It’s Unacceptable!

Hardik was not reading lines from a script. It was all him and he meant what he said. The ‘locker room talk’ was out in the open for once. How could someone who’s supposed to be a role model for millions of young men say such things?

BCCI, we had a lot of expectations from the suspension order and were in high hopes for better responsible men on field and off field!!

Our question remains stagnant as the on-going disrespect for our women!

Ladies, it’s time to be strong against the wrong and we stand by it!
