Angriya Cruises:

​Remember the beautiful Titanic cruise and the rustic love story! Many of us had the dream to experience the same at least once in our lifetime! Angriya cruise brings this experience for you in India. It is named after the great Maratha warrior Kanoji Angre. The experience in the Angriya cruise has become an overnight sensation on the internet. And why shouldn’t it be! After all we do not have any such cruise experiences in India.

The cruise is from Mumbai to Goa. It is a 14 hours journey. The cruise starts at 4 PM from Mumbai’s Victoria Docks and reaches Goa’s Mormugao Cruise Terminal the next day at 9 A.M. On the same day, it will start from Goa at 4P.M. and will reach Mumbai the next day at 9A.M.


There are total 104 rooms on the cruise and there are around 8 categories of rooms, right from the dormitory to deluxe room to luxurious suites. Ticket prices range from ₹4,300 for a dormitory to ₹7,650 for a double room. There are various types of rooms, views and hence the prices vary. What could one ask for in such a beautiful cruise is tasty food! INR 2,000 per person are charged for food during the trip. The cost includes tea, juice, snacks, buffet dinner and breakfast. The cruise has a 24-hour coffee shop, 6 bars and 2 restaurants. The food spread includes coastal and regional cuisine of Maharashtra and Goa. There are global cuisines available on the cruise as well!

Other amenities:

A beautiful lounge and bar are all set to set your night rolling! If you want to relax, try the spa facilities at the underwater spa on the cruise. Indulge in the infinity pool or just hit the gym. Experience the beautiful sunrise and sunset from the docks on the cruise! You are all set to have the most romantic holiday of your life! Statue of Unity-Sardar Vallabhai Patel Statue

​The tallest statue in the world is none other than in India! The statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel would be inaugurated by our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31st October 2018 which is the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The statue is also called statue of unity and the purpose of the statue is that the people should understand the life and values of this great man and inculcate them in their lives. Not many of us know that we have United India only because of this great man!

Where is it located:

This gigantic 182 meters long statue is located at Sadhu Bet island on Narmada River in Gujarat.What to see: Apart from the huge statue, the museum on the life of Sardar Patel is also constructed at the base. The audio visual will show the life and times of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The laser and light and sound show will also depict his efforts on unification of India. There would be various entertainment and food options available at the base of the statue. There is also a panoramic lift constructed alongside the statue which will take you to the viewing gallery to give a wonderful view of the entire project!

Where to stay:

The state government has constructed a 52-room three-star hotel called the Shreshta Bharat Bhavan. This hotel has a beautiful architecture and the view of the beautiful river! Two tent cities with 250 tents are currently under construction.

India is indeed progressing! There were certain experiences we never thought we would get to experience here. But look, we have a gigantic statue which is the tallest in the world and a cruise experience which will surely give a run for money for the cruises abroad!
